I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Central Arkansas's newest indoor baseball/softball training facility. Through camps, clinics, small group, and private instruction, our staff provides young players with the fundamentals necessary to develop and progress to the next level. We provide instruction from early elementary ages through high school graduation. At Balls-N-Strikes Sherwood, we have over 10,000 square feet with 9 multi-purpose tunnels, 4 pitching machines, and 4 mounds to fulfill your individual and team training needs. All of our tunnels can be pulled back and adapted to fit your practice needs. Located in Sherwood Arkansas we offer the following services.....
Speed, Power, & Agility
We have partnered with Ross Strength & Speed to develop this program to improve speed, power, strength, agility/quickness, balance, core stability, flexibility, conditioning and athleticism. This will help not only with improved batting and throwing power, but also the acceleration/speed and strength required for all sports. This program also helps for injury prevention and correction of movement dysfunctions. Get a step on the competition!
Memberships
We have memberships available in the form of Individual Annual, Family Annual, Individual Monthly and Family Monthly. When you purchase a membership with Balls-N-Strikes, you are guaranteed 20 minutes per day in a tunnel, a t-shirt, and a 10% discount on all camps, clinics, and lessons.
Instructors
At Balls-N-Strikes Sherwood all of our instructors receive certification before giving lessons. We take pride in our instructors at Balls-N-Strikes; therefore all of our instructors at Balls-N-Strikes Sherwood are former College Athletes, Professional Players, or College Coaches. Here are a few of the instructors that we currently offer lessons with:
Rick Guarno-former 4th round draft pick and currently an assistant coach at UALR
Ronnie Goodwin-former 2 time draft pick, pitcher at Ole Miss, and former D1 pitching coach
Ben Tschepikow-former player at Arkansas, All-SEC Team, draft pick of the Royals in 2009
Lessons
At Balls-N-Strikes, our certified-professional coaching staff is dedicated to helping each player maximize his or her individual skill level. Our private lessons include pitching, catching, fielding, throwing mechanics, and hitting for both baseball and softball. We also offer group lessons as well as team packages.
Camps & Clinics
Throughout the year Balls-N-Strikes will host a variety of camps and clinics, both indoors and outdoors. Camps and clinics will be held by the Balls-N-Strikes certified instructors and by special guest instructors ranging from college coaches to professional players. Birthday Parties
Is your little slugger getting ready to have a birthday? If so, then Balls-N-Strikes is the place to hold the party!
