Go to the ISTS main menu

Select ADD/Edit Tournament

Enter name of Tournament

Enter type of event

Enter age/class (Hold down control key for multiple age/classes)

Enter the date you wish to stop taking entries

Enter start and finish date

Number of berths is 0 unless it’s an NIT which is 2

Enter your park location (If your park is not found contact the State Director)

Event type usually POOL PLAY into SINGLE ELIMINATION

Enter cost

Enter MAX entries

You can add a comment which will show up on the tournament page

IF YOUR ARE HOSTING AN NIT ENTER THE TOURNAMENT AS A

QUALIFIER AND THE NATIONAL OFFICE WILL CHANGE IT TO AN NIT

WHEN THE PARER WORK AND FUNDS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED 

Select tournament from the ISTS menu

Choose "Enter Teams - Pic List or Reg Number" to add the teams that are already in the system. If you have out of state teams look under their state 

If you could not find teams during previous step, add teams to system using "Create Teams" contact the State Director before you create a team. 

Choose "Sanction Report - Game By Game". Make sure you enter pool games under POOL and bracket games under BRACKET 

The winning team must be entered first 

Enter results 12 games or less at a time. Make sure you click "Update" to save. After all games have been updated click "Post To Rankings". 

After results have been saved and posted to rankings view the tournament report. 

If the placing is not correct choose "Set Placing - Game by Game". Make sure you look at the tournament report before performing this step. 

You’re done. The report should be available for the public to see.

The system automatically clears all tournaments that have no teams entered 40 days past the start date. But if one team is entered the system will not remove the tournament. That tournament will need to be removed manually by removing all teams then removing the tournament. You will be billed as if that tournament took place if it exists. To prevent this billing please remove all canceled tournaments.

In order to remove a tournament from the system. There must be no teams entered in that event. Remove all teams using "Team Entry Status" , then choose "Remove Event". Both of those items are found on the ISTS Menu.

Note : A team can not be removed from a tournament if they have paid on line. ISTS will need to refund the teams money or transfer that payment to another tournament in order to remove that team from the tournament.

All State and National fee’s are do within 72 hours after the tournament results have been posted

The results must be entered no later then the following Wednesday after the Tournament

The State office will then email a bill to the tournament director (PLEASE NOTE THE FEES HAVE SLIGHTLY CHANGED)

The Tournament Director will also be responsible for adding any moneys for new teams or Umpires that were sanctioned

A $20.00 per day late charge will be accessed if not received on time
